Tel Aviv - Ofoq News - Gadi Eisenkot, former Israeli Chief of Staff and former member of the War Council, said that he was not aware of the information circulating regarding the transfer of Qatari aid worth more than $100 million to the Gaza Strip during the war.
He added, in an interview with the Israeli channel “ערוץ 7”, that he participated in the security ministerial council meetings for eight months, saying that he learned of this issue today, and demanded that the procedures be stopped immediately and that an investigation be opened to find out how this happened.
Eisenkot described the case as an “earthquake,” according to what was stated in the Hebrew report, in the context of his demand for an investigation into the money transfer mechanism and the entities that supervised it.
