Jordan.. At least 7 people were killed in a shooting inside a church in Karak

At least 7 people were killed, and about 10 others were injured, including those in critical condition, on Friday, in a shooting incident inside a church in Karak Governorate in Jordan, according to what was reported by the Jordanian “Al-Mamlaka” channel. The channel quoted a source as saying, "At least seven people died in the shooting attack on the Hammoud Church in Karak, while nearly 10 people were injured, including those with critical injuries."

The source added that two gunmen got out of a vehicle and opened fire during a funeral in the church. For its part, the Jordanian Public Security Directorate said that unidentified gunmen opened fire inside a church in Karak Governorate, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.

The directorate added, in a statement, that the people are being followed up, without providing further details about the incident or identifying the suspects, according to the Jordanian News Agency (Petra).
