The European Union condemns the attacks of colonialists in the West Bank and the targeting of European diplomats

Brussels - Ofoq News - The European Union condemned, on Sunday, the recent attacks carried out by colonists in the West Bank, including the attacks that targeted European diplomats in the city of Ramallah.

In a statement, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Callas, stressed the need to ensure full accountability for those responsible for the attacks, and to take effective measures to prevent the continuation of violence and harassment against Palestinians, including during the ongoing olive harvest season, as well as attacks targeting journalists.

Callas called on the Israeli occupation authorities to fully adhere to international humanitarian law and international human rights law, and to stop settlement expansion.

Yesterday, a number of colonists attacked diplomatic vehicles of European missions in the village of Al-Taybeh, east of the city of Ramallah, indicating that the masked colonists, who were carrying batons, attacked delegations from a number of European diplomatic missions, when they were leaving the village of Al-Taybeh, east of Ramallah.
