The occupation begins searching citizens’ homes and photographing them in the Ras al-Ahmar area

Tubas - Ofoq News - Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces began an inspection and photographing campaign of citizens’ homes in the Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas.

The head of the Atouf and Al-Ras Al-Ahmar Village Council, Abdullah Bsharat, reported that the occupation forces began a campaign of raids and searches of citizens’ homes in the area, in addition to photographing the homes and examining citizens’ identities.

For more than two weeks, the occupation forces have continued to besiege and isolate the Ras al-Ahmar area, by digging a trench and closing the entrances leading to it, which impedes the movement of citizens and their access to their lands and property, in light of the continuing attacks against the residents of the area.

Since the beginning of the year, the area has also witnessed extensive bulldozing operations carried out by the occupation forces with the aim of constructing a military road that passes through its lands, including the demolition of artesian wells and the destruction of irrigation networks and water-carrying pipes.
