Saudi Passports revealed the start of procedures to rectify the status of all Yemenis in all regions of the Kingdom, starting tomorrow, Sunday, for a period of two months, while the General Directorate of Passports clarified that the categories targeted for rectification will be about 4 categories.

First: Those who do not have Yemeni documents or passports are granted a free visit visa for a period of (6) months, by booking an electronic appointment through (Absher platform), choosing the correction site, and booking an appointment for review at the specified time and location, while bringing documents proving their Yemeni nationality, whether a passport or a travel document issued by the embassy of their country.
Second: Those who have an expired visitor ID, or those who hold an expired visitor visa of various types, and whose vital characteristics are registered in the Kingdom’s systems, then their visas are extended in the system electronically for a period of (6) months, without the need to review the passport departments, and a valid passport is required.
Third: Residents whose residency has expired; If their travel documents are valid, they can go to employers in need of their services through the digital platforms of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (Absher platform, Qiwa platform for professional workers, and Musaned platform for support workers), without the need to visit the headquarters of government agencies, and whoever among them wishes to leave can do so by granting him a final exit visa without restrictions preventing him from entering the Kingdom later.
Fourth: Those absent from work; Those whose travel documents are valid will have their situation corrected by canceling the absence report and transferring their services to other employers in need of their services via the digital platforms of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (Qawi platform for professional labor, and Musaned platform for support workers).
The Passports Department stated that the correction centers for violators of the border security system will be in the regions of the Kingdom as follows: Riyadh region (four centers), Najran region (one center), Makkah region (two centers), Asir region (three centers), Jazan region (two centers), Medina region (one center), Eastern region (three centers), Al-Bahah region (one center), Northern border region (one center), Tabuk region (one center), Qassim region (one center), Hail region (one center), Al-Jawf region. (2 places).
The correction decision comes based on the directives of King Salman, in response to the request of the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, to correct the conditions of all those of Yemeni nationality who are in the Kingdom irregularly. The Ministry of Interior announced the start of correction procedures in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Human Resources and Social Development, and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), as an extension of the continuous support and fraternal positions provided by the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Yemeni people.
