The Houthis: We targeted the headquarters of the Saudi Ministry of Defense.. And the “Coalition”: We intercepted 4 drones

On Thursday, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen announced the interception and destruction of 4 drones in the Riyadh and Medina regions, while the Iranian-backed Houthi group in Yemen said it launched 4 military operations within 48 hours, one of which targeted the headquarters of the Saudi Ministry of Defense in Riyadh and the other at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Coalition spokesman Turki Al-Maliki previously said on his page on the “X” platform, Twitter: “Intercepting and destroying 4 drones in the Riyadh and Medina regions.”

On the other hand, the military spokesman for the Houthis, Yahya Saree, said on the same platform that during the recent escalation 100 days ago, Saudi Arabia launched “more than 2,900 air strikes and missiles targeting civilian objects in our country... leaving more than 562 martyrs and wounded, most of them women and children,” according to his claim.

The Houthi spokesman added that in response to this escalation, the Houthi forces carried out during the past 48 hours "four qualitative military operations, using a number of ballistic missiles and drones." Saree continued, saying that “the first targeted the Ministry of Defense building” in Riyadh and the hit was “direct,” and “the second targeted Fahd International Airport in Dammam” and led to “the disruption of navigation traffic at the airport,” and “the third targeted Aramco in Yanbu and the hit was direct and led to a fire at the targeted location,” and “the fourth operation targeted Abha International Airport and the hit was direct,” as he claimed.
