Yemeni Defense to "Al-Arabiya.net": The Dawn of Yemen is an Urgent Necessity to Get Rid of the Houthi Militia

While the armed forces and military formations in Yemen expand the "Fajr Yemen" battle on various fronts to restore the state, the Assistant Minister of Defense for International Cooperation, Samir Al-Haj, confirmed that "Fajr Yemen" is a pressing necessity to rid Yemen of the terrorist Houthi militia, according to a special statement to "Al Arabiya.net."

In a related context, he emphasized that the "Fajr Yemen" operation is a comprehensive effort between the legitimate government and the coalition forces, asserting that the current battle is a "battle for salvation" from the terrorist militias.

The Yemeni military official, Samir Al-Haj, mentioned that the Houthis' control over some villages and districts in Yemen will not change the course of the battle, which he said must "continue until the end."

Meanwhile, the Yemeni Assistant Minister of Defense, Samir Al-Haj, sent a message to the military leaders who collaborated with the Houthis, stating that "military honor" requires defending the homeland and protecting the state and its institutions from violations and coups. He emphasized that the Houthis have carried out a coup against the state, making it everyone's responsibility, including the military, to confront them.

He said: "We call on the military to take a clear stance, or at least refrain from assisting the Houthis," considering that the group has caused the destruction of the country and plunged it into a devastating war that has consumed everything, in addition to the worsening misery and hunger and the decline in development, along with the siege it imposes on citizens in the cities," he said.

In a similar context, the Assistant Minister of Defense for International Cooperation, Samir Al-Haj, emphasized the existence of a popular rejection of the Houthis, pointing out that the militia is trying to cover up that rejection by fabricating battles and clashes, and pushing misled youth and tribesmen towards side battles, away from their rights and needs, and from the issues of the country's development and the payment of their salaries. He said: The Houthis are well aware that the position of the Yemeni people towards them will not change, no matter how long the conflict lasts, or how many gains they achieve or support they receive from some countries, considering that the popular rejection of the group represents a continuous challenge for them.

The Yemen Dawn operation enters its third day, achieving victories for the armed forces and all military formations and popular resistance in the past hours in several combat fronts, while the Yemeni forces are enhancing their military operations as part of the Yemen Dawn operation across several fronts, coinciding with new progress recorded in Taiz Governorate, and the continuation of operations in Marib and the western coast, along with airstrikes targeting Houthi military capabilities in Sana'a, Saada, and Hodeidah.
