The Saudi Ministry of Interior added: “Thanks to God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing the crime, and by referring him to the competent court, a ruling was issued against him proving what was attributed to him, and because what the aforementioned person did was in a way that would protect the victim from the harm of his murderous son, he was sentenced to death to end the calamity, and the ruling became final after he appealed and was then upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided. According to SPA, according to Sharia law. The Ministry confirmed that "the death sentence (haddah) was carried out against the perpetrator, Faisal bin Obaid bin Khaled Al-Suhaimi, a Saudi national, on Thursday, 4/27/1448 AH, corresponding to 10/8/2026 AD, in the Medina region."
