The Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, said that the practices of the Houthi terrorist militia reveal a recurring pattern of using crises and a tool for political pressure and then “assuming the role of the victim, ignoring responsibility for its decisions. The result is an exhausted homeland and a people paying the bill for a project that serves foreign agendas and endless extremist adventures.”

The Saudi ambassador to Yemen confirmed that Al-Houthi exploited Yemen's revenues in his war on the Kingdom and the sea lanes, refusing to hand over employees' salaries and taking responsibility for services in the areas he controls by force of arms, using violence against those who demand it or those who oppose him.
Regarding Sanaa International Airport, Al Jaber indicated that the airport was witnessing flights before the Houthis seized four Yemeni Airlines planes in June 2024, considering that this step contributed to the complexity of the air transport crisis. He added that initiatives to resume flights, including proposals to provide alternative aircraft and operate flights between Amman and Sanaa, faced rejection or the imposition of new conditions.
In a related context, Al Jaber highlighted the suffering of the residents of Taiz as a result of the closure of roads and restricted access to food and medicine, wondering about the possibility of achieving peace in light of the continued siege of the city, the disruption of the airport, and the involvement of Yemen in regional conflicts.
He stressed that Yemen needs a stable state, effective institutions, regular salaries, and open roads, stressing the Kingdom’s continued support for the Yemeni people and their legitimate government, and protecting the security of the Kingdom, its lands, and its ships, in order to achieve security, peace, stability, and support development and prosperity in Yemen.
