Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed, on Saturday, his country’s readiness to implement any measure requested by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and defend it in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, indicating that if the matter requires the approval of the Egyptian Parliament, he will not delay a moment.
Al-Sisi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the brothers in the Gulf, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for their support of Egypt following the events of 2013, stressing that their support and the bridges of oil and gas ships came without account, and had it not been for their position, Egypt would have embarked on an unknown path.
In a gesture of appreciation, President Sisi directed the Egyptian Armed Forces to offer a military salute to the brothers in the Gulf states, led by Saudi Arabia, for their historical positions with Egypt.
The Egyptian President’s speech came during the graduation ceremony of new batches from the Egyptian Military Academy, today, Saturday. Two days ago, the Egyptian President affirmed that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are the heart of the Arab and Islamic nations, and that Egypt does not accept compromising the Kingdom’s security and borders.
He said during his speech at the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police college students the day before yesterday, Thursday, that the saying that the national security of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Arab Gulf states is linked is a correct statement, stressing that targeting the Kingdom in this way affects Arab and Egyptian national security, and also rejects compromising the security of the Red Sea and international sea lanes, stressing that what matters is the security of the Kingdom, not compromising it, its stability, and reducing escalation.
