Today, Saturday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi called on Parliament to hold an emergency session to authorize any intervention requested by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Sisi said, during his speech at the graduation ceremony of military college students, that Egypt will implement any measure to protect and defend Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Al-Sisi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the brothers in the Gulf, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for their support of Egypt following the events of 2013, stressing that gas and oil ships were arriving in Egypt without charge, and that without their position, the country would have faced an unknown path.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had previously confirmed that Egypt and Saudi Arabia represent the heart of the Arab and Islamic nations, and that Egypt does not accept compromising the Kingdom’s security or borders.
Al-Sisi said, during his speech at the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police college students, the day before yesterday, Thursday, that the saying that national security is linked to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Arab Gulf states is correct, stressing that targeting the Kingdom in this way affects Arab and Egyptian national security.
He stressed the rejection of compromising the security and stability of the Kingdom, as well as the rejection of compromising the security of the Red Sea and international sea lanes, stressing the importance of preserving Saudi Arabia’s security and reducing escalation.
