Ramallah - Ofoq News - Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh received, on Sunday, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, His Excellency Dr. Geza Andreas von Geyer, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Excellency the President’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs, Magdi Al-Khalidi, and the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, Aya Al-Muhaisen.

The German delegation included Mr. Kurt Georg Stückel-Stielfried, Director General of the Middle East and Africa Department at the German Foreign Ministry, Ms. Anke Schlemm, Head of the German Representation in Ramallah, and Mr. Per Otte, Head of the Political Department at the German Representation in Ramallah.

Al-Sheikh reviewed the ongoing Israeli measures in the Palestinian territories, including daily settler terrorism, settlement expansion, barriers, and the detention and confiscation of Palestinian funds, and the repercussions of these policies on the economic and living conditions, in addition to the challenges faced by the health and education sectors, and the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
