Major General Allam Al-Saqqa visits American journalist Lavini and condemns settler terrorism

Ramallah - Ofoq News - Today, Friday, the Director General of the Palestinian Police, Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, visited American journalist Heidi Lavigne, at the Palestine Medical Complex in the city of Ramallah, to check on her health, after she was attacked by settlers in the village of Abu Falah, east of Ramallah, conveying to her the greetings of the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh, Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa, and members of the Palestinian leadership.

Major General Al-Saqqa condemned the attack on the American journalist, stressing that what she was subjected to embodies an ongoing pattern of settler terrorism that targets our Palestinian people, and threatens their safety, security, and property, in various regions of the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

He stressed that this attack reveals the seriousness of the escalation of settler terrorism and its expansion, which no longer excludes anyone, including foreign journalists who do their work and report the truth about what is happening on the ground, in a clear violation of freedom of the press and the right of journalists to work safely and without threat or attack.
