Settlers Attempt to Burn Chicken Sheds and Graffiti Racist Slogans in Salfit (Video)

Salfit - Afaq News - A group of settlers attempted to set fire to chicken coops in the Jiza area west of the village of Farha, southwest of Salfit, while also writing racist slogans on the walls.

Activist Mustafa Bakr reported that the settlers tried to ignite a chicken coop inside the environmental farm (Qamar Al-Balad), in addition to writing racist slogans on the walls of a farm owned by citizens Talal and Jalal Al-Khatib, before the locals intervened and prevented the flames from reaching the facilities, thus avoiding greater damage.

He added that the settlers wrote racist slogans on the walls of the coop, including phrases like (Nothing will move the area, no one will budge the land), indicating that they intend to remain in the outpost they established on the citizens' lands in the area.

Bakr pointed out that the vigilance of the locals and their quick intervention prevented the settlers from completing the burning of the farm and the chicken coop, while the attack raised concerns among the citizens, especially in light of the repeated assaults on lands and properties in various areas of Salfit Governorate.
