On the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Egyptian artist Heba Magdy published pictures of herself inside the hospital with her medical staff, including doctors and nurses, while sending them a gentle message of thanks after her struggle with cancer.

Heba Magdy appeared accompanied by her husband, the singer Mohamed Mohsen, along with a number of doctors and nurses, in a post on her Facebook account, today, Tuesday, while her health appeared to have greatly improved after her ordeal with cancer. She wrote, commenting: “On the occasion of the month of awareness and challenge against any disease or any pain... Thank God for the past period, God surrounded me with very important people in whom I trusted, listened to their words, and adhered to all their instructions.”

Heba Magdy added: “Praise be to God, I was lucky with them and their cleverness... All thanks and prayers, may God bless you.” She pointed to the names of the doctors, one by one, and to the nursing staff, which reflected her gratitude and appreciation for their role in her journey to recover from the malignant disease.

Magdy continued: “A dose of optimism and strength for me and for all those who need it. May God forgive everyone.”

It is noteworthy that Heba Magdy surprised everyone last June, revealing that she had been exposed to a health crisis during the recent period, noting that she had undergone an arduous treatment journey, through an influential message that she published on her official Facebook account.

Magdy wrote in her comment on the photo in which she appeared with pale features: “A morning of contentment and optimism... Praise be to God, in the most difficult and severe disease, and in the most difficult treatment... My Lord, heal every sick person, O Lord, for with hardship comes ease... O Lord, goodness, health, protection and peace of mind for all of us.”

In previous statements to Al Arabiya.net, a source close to the artist revealed that Heba Magdy has been suffering from cancer for several months, and that she is undergoing a chemotherapy program under the supervision of a specialized medical team.

The source also explained that the beginning of the crisis dates back to August last year, when the artist suffered a sudden and severe health illness, which prompted her treating physician to request a series of laboratory tests and X-rays, before the results revealed that she was suffering from cancer.

He added that Heba Magdy preferred to conceal the details of her illness and not inform even her closest friends in the artistic community, and immediately began her chemotherapy journey, which forced her to apologize for a number of dramas that were shown to her at the end of last year, including the series “A Game and I Turned Hard.”

At the end of last June, the artist’s husband, Mohamed Mohsen, explained in a blog post through his personal accounts that his wife’s health condition had become stable at the present time, pointing out that she had come a long way in her medical journey, and had actually entered the final and final stage of treatment.
