Outside the rules...an unconventional ballet dance attracts attention at the Cannes Film Festival

- The artistic director of the international jewelry house “Chopard” and the Swiss businesswoman Caroline Scheufele stole the spotlight at the closing ceremony of the 79th Cannes Film Festival, after she performed a “ballet” dance on the red carpet. Instead of classic high-heeled shoes, Chauvel, who is 64 years old, chose pink “ballerina” shoes with a classic black dress decorated with bright embroideries, a bare shoulder cut and a length reaching the ankle, with jewelry from the same house.

This exceptional moment was not the only event that caught attention, as Chauvel appeared during the festival accompanied by her dog on more than one occasion, in a scene that reflected her unconventional character within one of the most rigorous and elegant events in the world. The artistic director appeared in multiple looks, including a classic white shirt with a gray patterned skirt, and a bright red dress with an off-shoulder cut.

She also shined in a bright blue dress decorated with dangling tassels and a side braid hairstyle, alongside the American model of Palestinian origin, Bella Hadid, on the red carpet. Photographers' lenses spotted the huge necklace that Chauvel wore in one of her looks, as it featured a design of dogs studded with diamonds and precious stones with a gray pearl base.
