“A loyal, authentic man.” This is how a Saudi prince commented on the Al-Ahly defender’s message to the Kingdom

Saudi Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed sent a message to the Turkish player for Al-Ahly Jeddah club, Merih Demiral, in which he described him as a "genuinely loyal man", after Demiral sent words of solidarity with Saudi Arabia in light of the Houthi attacks targeting the Kingdom. Abdul Rahman bin Musaed previously wrote on his page on the “X” platform, Twitter: “The loyal and authentic man, Demiral: What I said was from the heart and reached the hearts of all of us.”

Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed continued, saying: “You are generous, and the Saudis are generous, and they will never forget this position of yours.” Turkish Merih Demiral, defender of Al-Ahly club, expressed his support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after it was targeted by the Yemeni Houthi group.

Demiral said in a press conference on Sunday: “I would like to express my sympathy to the families of the victims who fell as a result of the attacks that the Kingdom witnessed, and I wish a speedy recovery for the injured.” He added: "Saudi Arabia is my second country, so I feel very sad about what happened, and I stand in solidarity with everyone in such circumstances."
