The Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Kingdom, Salem Saleh bin Brik, confirmed that the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to respond to the request of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, regarding the correction of the status of Yemenis in the Kingdom who are residing there illegally, represent an extension of the Kingdom's steadfast brotherly and humanitarian positions towards Yemen and its people.

Bin Brik stated that the directive reflects the depth of the historical and brotherly relations that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and embodies the continuous attention and support that Yemen receives from the leadership of the Kingdom, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances faced by the Yemeni people.

The Yemeni Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the attention and care that the leadership of the Kingdom provides to the sons of the Yemeni people.

He pointed out that the Kingdom has always been the closest supporter of Yemen at various stages, affirming that the support and care it provides to Yemenis reflects the special nature of the relationship that binds the two countries, transcending the official dimension to deep brotherly, social, and humanitarian ties.

Ben Brik also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and his follow-up on this file, which resulted in a generous response from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The Yemeni ambassador to the Kingdom called on the Yemeni community members concerned to benefit from this grant and to adhere to the official instructions and regulations that will be issued, confirming that the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Riyadh will continue to coordinate with the relevant authorities and will inform citizens of all matters related to the procedures and consular services associated with it as soon as they are received.
