Gaza - Ofoq News - Today, Saturday, in the northern “Fash Farsh” area, displaced families organized a peaceful protest during which they addressed an urgent humanitarian appeal to international institutions, civil society organizations, and donors, as a result of the decline in the humanitarian response and the continued interruption of relief aid for long periods.

​The participants in the vigil called on all concerned parties to fulfill their legal and humanitarian responsibilities to alleviate the burden of suffering and increasing risks with the advent of winter. The attendees called for accelerating the provision of urgent basic needs, most notably shelter supplies and tents to confront the harsh winter conditions, food and health packages, filling the gap resulting from the absence of relief support, and finding urgent solutions to the water and lighting crises in light of the acute scarcity of drinking water and basic services.

This stance comes to emphasize the need for the international community and relief institutions to move to remedy the deteriorating humanitarian situation and ensure the protection of the displaced and meet their living requirements in a way that responds to their human dignity.
