Tel Aviv - Ofoq News - The Israeli authorities announced the imposition of a comprehensive closure on the West Bank and Gaza crossings in conjunction with the October 7 anniversary.

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced the imposition of a comprehensive closure on the West Bank and the closure of the Gaza Strip crossings, on Monday and Wednesday, October 5 and 7, coinciding with the anniversary of the operation on October 7, 2023.

According to the decision, restrictions are imposed on the movement of Palestinians in the West Bank, while the Gaza Strip crossings are closed during the specified period.

These measures come at a time when the Palestinian territories are witnessing severe restrictions on movement, amid repeated Palestinian criticism of the policy of closures, barriers and procedures that affect the lives of millions of Palestinians and their daily movement.
