Gaza - Ofoq News - Today, Saturday, hundreds of citizens participated in bidding farewell to two Christian martyrs who were killed by the Israeli occupation army in a raid in Gaza City.
Five citizens, including a Christian mother and daughter, were martyred in Gaza and many others were injured in a raid that occurred at dawn today.
The bodies of the two martyrs were transported to the Greek Orthodox Church in the Old City, where the funeral ceremonies took place with wide participation.
Fouad Ayyad, a relative of the two martyrs, said that they were surprised by the martyrdom of the mother, Maria Hafez Al-Najjar, and her daughter, Maysaa Khader Abu Daoud, in the bombing at dawn today.
He told our correspondent that Christians in Gaza feel afraid for their lives, especially after the loss of the two women, and before that 19 Christians in the church, and before them six in the south of the Strip and others.
He added: "The news came as a shock to us. The deceased's husband and daughter were martyred in the war, and today she and her second daughter were martyred."
He stressed that the occupation's attacks do not differentiate between Muslims and Christians, whether in the West Bank, Jerusalem, or even Gaza. In the end, the blood is one, the people are one, and the missile makes no difference between Muslim and Christian blood.
He called for adherence to national unity to stop the bloodshed.
