The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and categorical condemnation of the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militias, targeting King Khalid International Airport in the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in a number of deaths.

Al-Badawi stressed that the Houthi militia's deliberate targeting of civilian airports and civilians requires serious international action and decisive measures to ensure its deterrence and prevent the recurrence of such attacks, which contradict the most basic humanitarian principles and international conventions.

He reiterated that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, affirming the Council’s absolute support for the Kingdom in all the steps it takes to maintain its security and protect its capabilities and territorial integrity.
