Confrontations continue between Yemeni government forces and the Houthi militia on several fronts in Taiz Governorate, coinciding with the thwarting of an infiltration attempt near Dhubab Airport and the continuation of mine clearance operations on the west coast, according to Yemeni military data.

The Taiz Axis Media Center announced today, Saturday, the killing of 25 members of the Houthi group and the injury of others, after government forces, with the support of the popular resistance, responded to an attack on the Al Shaqab Front, southeast of the city.

The statement indicated the continuation of battles on the Al-Shaqab and Al-Aqroud fronts, southeast of Taiz, and Jabal Habashi to the west. It also spoke of deaths and injuries among the Houthis as a result of ambushes carried out on the Al-Misrakh, Al-Birin, and Jabal Habashi fronts.

The center also confirmed that warplanes launched raids on Houthi gatherings and sites in the Sami District and the Maslaqa area in Jabal Habashi, in addition to raids that targeted sites and gatherings on the Al-Aqroud and Jabal Sami fronts. He also announced the downing of a suicide drone belonging to the group east of Taiz.

In the same context, the National Shield Forces published a video clip documenting the thwarting of an infiltration attempt carried out by the Houthis in the vicinity of Dhubab Airport, with the participation of the Southern Giants forces and air support from the coalition forces.

In parallel with these events, the Southern Giants forces continue operations to remove mines that they say were planted in large quantities on the West Coast, as part of efforts to comb and secure the area.

In a related context, the Yemeni government renewed, on Saturday, its request to the United Nations and the UN Security Council to tighten the implementation of the arms embargo imposed on the Houthi militia.

The Yemeni government also delivered a message to the United Nations and the UN Security Council regarding the attack launched by the Houthi militia on Aden International Airport, on October 7, demanding the condemnation of this crime, holding its perpetrators accountable, and the full and effective implementation of the arms embargo imposed on the militia.

Today, Saturday, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the destruction of 136 military targets in areas controlled by the terrorist Houthi militia, stressing that it is working to dismantle and destroy the Houthi ballistic missile network.

He stressed the provision of 24-hour air support to Yemeni armed forces units, noting the implementation of a large operation targeting the elements and capabilities of the terrorist Houthi militia.
