The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the killing of a 32-year-old young man by Israeli army gunfire at the Nabi Yunus Junction in Hebron Governorate, and the detention of his body, coinciding with settler attacks and military incursions into various areas of the West Bank.
In the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron, settlers assaulted a young man and smashed the windows of his vehicle in the Wadi Khanis area. Settlers also attacked the Wadi al-Sheikh area in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the governorate.
The information received did not include additional details about the circumstances of the shooting at the Prophet Yunus Junction, or the condition of the young man who was attacked in Sa’ir.
In Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, the Israeli army secured the incursion of settlers into the eastern area of the Al-Mughayir village plain, where they released their livestock into the area.
Settlers also stormed farmers’ lands in the vicinity of the village of Barqa, preventing them from picking olives, amid continued attacks in the two areas.
These attacks affected agricultural lands in the governorate, in addition to the attacks witnessed in the towns of Sa'ir and Beit Ummar in the Hebron Governorate.
At the same time, Israeli forces stormed various areas of the West Bank, and raided homes in a number of them, including the homes of liberated prisoners.
In southern Tubas, Israeli forces surrounded a house during their storming of the area, without the available information including details about the identity of those inside or the results of the siege.
The military movements coincided with settler attacks in the Hebron, Ramallah, and Al-Bireh governorates, while the Ministry of Health’s announcement regarding the dead young man was limited to his age, the place of his death, and the detention of his body.
