The voices of a number of Saudi song stars sing out new patriotic works, coinciding with the 96th Saudi National Day celebrations under the slogan “Our Pride is by Nature,” carrying words that evoke the meanings of security, belonging, and pride, in a scene in which the national song is renewed with different sounds and artistic experiences.

From Rashid Al Majed to Abbas Ibrahim, singing releases celebrating the Kingdom continue, while their contents vary between pride in the homeland, its security and its status, to collectively form an aspect of the artistic scene accompanying the occasion.

Saudi artist Rashid Al Majed returns to the national song with a new work titled “Security and Safety,” adding a new station to an artistic journey in which national singing had a prominent presence.

Al-Majed announced the work through his official account on the “X” platform, quoting his words: “Your eyes do not sleep on my homeland... and the sound of the call to prayer does not decrease,” in a phrase that summarizes the content of the song that evokes the security and stability of the Kingdom, and focuses on the meanings of alertness, steadfastness, and reassurance.

“Security and Safety” came from Rihab’s words, composed by Nawaf Abdullah, and arranged by Adnan Abdullah, while the work moved musically to a calm form that gives the text and sound more space, away from the loud festive rhythms.

Through the song, Al Majed continues his presence in the national color that accompanied various stages of his artistic career, presenting this time a work that makes security a main focus of his words.

In turn, the Saudi artist Abbas Ibrahim registered his presence on the occasion with a new patriotic song entitled “High Status,” evoking the meanings of pride in the Kingdom and its status.

The song was written by Prince Faisal bin Yazid, composed by Faisal Al-Mohammad, and arranged by Marwan, and was presented as part of the musical works accompanying the 96th Saudi National Day celebrations.

The work represents an extension of Abbas Ibrahim’s presence in the national song, after previous works linked to the Kingdom and its occasions, so he returns this year with a work that expresses pride and belonging.

The list of new releases expands with the song “Hurry” by artist Fahd Al Kubaisi, which was released in conjunction with the occasion, along with the song “O Crown Prince” by artist Mohammed bin Jaeed, among the works associated with the 96th National Day.

Artist Majid Al-Muhandis also attended with the national work “The Sun Goes Long”, written by Prince Saud bin Abdullah, composed by Sahm, and arranged by Bashar Sultan, to join the list of participating artists with new works to keep up with the occasion.

The presented works reveal a diversity of musical styles and themes, but they converge on the vocabulary of homeland, security, belonging and pride, in an extension of the presence of the national song as part of the artistic scene accompanying Saudi events.

With the advent of National Day, new releases continue with the voices of artists from different generations and experiences, while the homeland remains the common denominator between them, so that the Saudi song is sung this year with words of pride, belonging, and pride in the Kingdom.
