Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu renewed the warning of Iran's dangers to Israel. Netanyahu said in an interview on Israeli Army Radio Elem on Wednesday: “Our enemies want to attack us during these days... Iran’s arms are seeking to launch missiles and carry out offensive operations.”

But he claimed that he opposes launching a pre-emptive attack on Tehran at the current time, ahead of the elections. He said: "In my opinion, this timing is not appropriate for us."

In addition, he stressed that “during the next two years, he will eliminate Hamas and Hezbollah and bring down Iran.”

He considered that his government and the Israeli forces had completed 90% of the work required on the open fronts in order to establish security.

These statements came amid confirmation from informed sources that Netanyahu discussed with US President Donald Trump the possibility of launching an attack on Iran before the US elections scheduled for next November 3.

However, the White House denied the matter completely, and stressed that the US administration is committed to Trump’s previous announcement that he will not launch military strikes on Iran before the midterm congressional elections.
