- Lebanese artist Haifa Wehbe appeared with an unconventional look during her latest photographic work in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, wearing an outfit inspired by the clothes of restaurant waitresses. The costume, designed by Lebanese Rami Salmoun, combined the traditional elements of this type of fashion with modern touches that were added to fit Wehbe's character in the video clip and the context of his story, including a cleavage and transparent black stockings.
Salmon revealed in an interview with the Arabic website Ofoq News that it took 24 hours to work on the costume, between developing the idea and implementing it, according to “couture” standards and relying on manual craftsmanship. The designer used light green crepe fabric, with a top jacket equipped with white buttons and ties, and a skirt decorated with pleated pleats.
As for the white apron over the skirt, it was made using “Pratto” threads. Salmon explained that his cooperation with Wehbe extends for more than ten years, which contributed to facilitating the work between them, as he now knows her style and what she looks for in her looks.
Their shared vision also became clearer over the years. The Lebanese artist completed her look with an updo, makeup based on defining the eyes with black eyeliner and pink lipstick, in addition to a set of jewelry, including a set inspired by the design of cherries.
