30,000 passengers moved through the Karama crossing last week

Jericho - Ofoq News - More than 30,000 citizens, male and female, and visitors were transported through the Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 47 people wanted by the judiciary.

The police stated, in its weekly report, that the number of departures reached (14,945) people, while the number of arriving travelers reached (15,846) people, and passenger movement was active.

During the same period, the police arrested 47 people wanted by the judiciary and banned from travel, whether while trying to leave through the crossing, or anticipating their arrival while entering the Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases filed before the courts and the Public Prosecution.

The Border and Crossing Authority crews, in cooperation with the security and civil services operating at the crossing, continue their efforts to facilitate the movement of citizens and provide them with the necessary services, especially for humanitarian and medical cases, in a way that ensures the speed of procedures and the smooth flow of movement.
