After the Houthis carried out a terrorist attack against Medina, at dawn on Tuesday, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, confirmed that the “sinful Houthi attack” crosses all red lines and is considered a blatant provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world, and a dangerous continuation in violating the sanctity of Islamic sanctities.
Al-Budaiwi stressed that the "Houthi attack" reveals a hostile approach that does not give weight to religious and humanitarian values or international laws and norms, especially with repeated attempts to target the Two Holy Mosques and the areas surrounding them.
Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, condemned, in the strongest and harshest terms, the terrorist attack with a drone, which was carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia by targeting an electricity distribution station in Medina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which provides its services to the Prophet’s Mosque and civilian objects in the city.
In a related context, Al-Budaiwi stressed the full and steadfast stance of the GCC countries with Saudi Arabia, and their complete solidarity with it in the face of everything that targets its security, stability, sovereignty, and sanctities, and its support for all measures it takes to protect its lands, citizens, residents, and guests of God, stressing that the security of the Kingdom and the security of its sanctities is an integral part of the security of the GCC countries, and that any threat to it is a threat to the security of all GCC countries.
