Ambassador Abu Zarqa presents his credentials as Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Hanoi - Ofoq News - The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Ambassador Dr. Shadi Abu Zarqa, presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to Tu Lam, Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, during an official ceremony that took place in the capital, Hanoi.

During the meeting, Ambassador Abu Zarqa conveyed to President Tu Lam the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, and the Palestinian leadership, and their wishes to His Excellency and to the friendly Vietnamese people for further progress and prosperity, and for the Socialist Republic of Vietnam continued stability and prosperity.

Ambassador Abu Zarqa stressed the depth of the established historical relations between the State of Palestine and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which were built on solid foundations of friendship, solidarity and mutual respect, stressing the State of Palestine’s keenness to continue developing, strengthening and elevating these relations to new horizons and levels, in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples and the two friendly countries.

Ambassador Abu Zarqa expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, its leadership, government and people, for its historical and consistent positions towards the Palestinian issue, and for its support and support for the rights of the Palestinian people in various international forums, stressing that Palestine highly appreciates Vietnam’s principled positions and its commitment to justice, international law and the rights of peoples to freedom and self-determination.

Ambassador Abu Zarqa also stressed the keenness of the Embassy of the State of Palestine to work closely with various Vietnamese state institutions, and to strengthen channels of communication and cooperation in the political, economic, academic and cultural fields, in a way that contributes to consolidating the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Palestine and Vietnam, and building on the distinguished historical legacy of relations between the two countries.

For his part, President Tu Lam stressed the importance of the relations between Vietnam and the State of Palestine, and his country's keenness to continue supporting and developing bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries and peoples.

The credentials presentation ceremony confirms the strength of Palestinian-Vietnamese relations, and the common will to continue consolidating and developing them in a way that reflects the depth of friendship and historical solidarity between the Palestinian and Vietnamese peoples.
