This Wednesday morning, Israeli warplanes raided the Hamra farm on the outskirts of Zawtar in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon, at approximately 6:30 am (local time), according to what was announced by the National News Agency.

The vicinity of Birkat Baathail on the outskirts of Kfar Shuba was also subjected to the fall of 240 mm artillery shells, which also affected the vicinity of the town of Khiam, according to the official Lebanese News Agency.

The National News Agency reported, “At night, enemy artillery violently bombarded the outskirts of Kafr Tibnit, the center, and the outskirts of Mifidoun and Wadi Zebqin.”

Israel has been waging a war on Lebanon since last March 2, after Hezbollah fired missiles at northern Israel. Israeli forces occupied a number of towns in southern Lebanon.

On June 20, a ceasefire was announced, after which the pace of Israeli targeting of southern Lebanon decreased.
