Consultations between the Sultan of Oman and Tahnoon bin Zayed during his visit to Muscat

- Sultan Haitham bin Tariq held consultations with Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, as part of his official visit to Muscat, on Wednesday, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM). Sultan Haitham bin Tariq stressed "the depth of the established fraternal relations that bring together the two brotherly countries and peoples."

The meeting discussed "the distinguished path of fraternal relations" between the two countries, "and the opportunities available to strengthen them and expand the horizons of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, in a way that serves their common interests." The two sides also discussed a number of issues and topics of common interest, and exchanged views on them.

Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed had arrived in Muscat earlier on Wednesday, where upon his arrival at the Royal Private Airport, he was greeted by His Excellency Yazan bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and a number of senior Omani officials. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed was accompanied during the visit by a delegation that included Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, and Sultan Obaid Al Yahouni, Director General of the Office of the Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

From the Omani side, Lieutenant General Sultan bin Muhammad al-Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, Dr. Hamad bin Saeed al-Awfi, Head of the Private Office, and Abdul Salam bin Muhammad al-Murshidi, Head of the Omani Investment Authority, attended.
