Discussions between Mohammed bin Zayed and Khalid bin Salman regarding developments in the region

On Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed received Prince Khalid bin Salman, on the sidelines of the Saudi Defense Minister’s visit to the United Arab Emirates. During the meeting, the two sides discussed “ways to enhance and develop joint cooperation in a way that achieves their common interests and brings goodness and development to their brotherly peoples,” according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

They discussed regional developments and exchanged views on them “in a way that contributes to consolidating security and stability and achieving lasting peace in the region.” The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun, Advisor to the President of the State, and a number of ministers and officials.
