The Counter-Extremism Center “Etidal” highlighted the growth of new types of conflicts targeting the awareness of societies, noting that “wars of perception” have become one of the tools targeting nations, in light of attempts to tamper with awareness and falsify facts.

The center explained, in a post on its official account on the “X” platform, that the emergence of new patterns of conflicts and the spread of “wars of perception” targeting homelands makes “cognitive security” a necessary framework for understanding and confronting these wars.
