Khan Yunis - Ofoq News - Fire broke out last night in a number of displaced people's tents in the area near the yellow line on Salah al-Din Street, east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, after they were targeted by flaming bombs dropped by Quadcopter aircraft, which led to a number of them burning.
The displaced people who were inside their tents rushed to put out the fire, amid a state of fear and panic, especially among women and children, as a result of the sudden targeting.
Eyewitnesses in the area told the official agency that no injuries were recorded among the displaced, while the damage was limited to the burning of a number of tents.
The witnesses added that a number of displaced people residing near the yellow line were forced to leave their tents during the night hours, and move as much of their luggage and belongings as they could, for fear of being exposed to another target.
The displaced people expressed their fears that burning the tents would be a prelude to a new wave of displacement towards the Al-Mawasi area, in light of the state of anxiety they are experiencing and the fear of repeated targeting, which exacerbates their suffering and increases their fears about their fate and place of residence during the coming period.
