Sham Al-Dhahabi, the daughter of Syrian singer Assala, responded to the criticisms directed at her singing experience "On the Waves of Love" that she recently presented.

Some compared her to her mother, Assala, which placed Sham in a position of significant criticism due to this comparison.

In the program "Tafaalakum," Sham Al-Dhahabi commented on this experience, confirming that her intention was never to sing or present an artistic work with her voice.

Especially since she is aware of the size of her voice, which she described as "just okay," pointing out that she performed the song alongside her colleague who wrote and composed it, and it is inspired by the slogan she always says in her work.

The song came in celebration of the 7th anniversary of her project, which made Asala agree to the matter, especially since it supports her daughter's work.

Sham commented on the singing experience saying, "First and last time," explaining that her mother loved the song because it came naturally, and there was no prior preparation for it.

When Asala saw the criticisms directed at her daughter because of the song, she asked her to make this experience the first and last, so her daughter told her that she would appear on Al Arabiya to confirm that this is the first and last time.

Sham revealed that she went to the studio 3 times to re-record the song, so she realized that it was extremely difficult.

Sham appeared to be accepting of the criticisms directed at her, affirming that art is not inherited, emphasizing that the song was only meant to support her project and was never intended as a work of art.
