Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia, continues to top the list of highest-paid football players in the world for the year 2026, according to a classification published by the American magazine “Forbes” on Saturday.
Ronaldo and Argentine Lionel Messi maintained first and second places on the list for the fourth season in a row, and for the twelfth time in the last thirteen seasons, with an expected income of $300 million for the Portuguese star, compared to $145 million for Messi.
According to the American magazine, Ronaldo is expected to receive $250 million from his contract with Al-Nasr, in addition to $50 million from sponsorship and commercial investments, while Senegalese Sadio Mane, Al-Nasr player, came in seventh place with expected profits of $54 million.
