In exchange for Gulf assurances to support Riyadh's measures to protect its security and interests in the face of Houthi attacks, Saudi Arabia reiterated that the terrorist Houthi militia's attacks with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and marches against civil and economic installations and airports in the Kingdom are "full-fledged war crimes."

The Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Engineer Walid Al-Khuraiji, confirmed that the attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia exceeded all moral and religious considerations by deliberately targeting Mecca, Medina, Umrah pilgrims, and visitors. This makes confronting terrorist militias a shared international responsibility.

In a related context, a Gulf ministerial statement on Sunday called for classifying the Houthi militia as a terrorist group and dealing with it in the same way the international system deals with terrorist groups that threaten security, peace, development and prosperity, and stopping all support that makes it possess missiles and drones.

The Gulf statement issued in Manama called on the United Nations and the international community to ensure the precise implementation of the arms embargo to the Houthi militia, stipulated in those resolutions, calling on the Security Council, and its permanent member states in particular, to assume their responsibilities in maintaining international peace and security, enforcing its decisions, and dealing with freedom of maritime and air navigation as a common international interest that does not tolerate selectivity.

In light of the results of the Gulf ministerial meeting, Manama witnessed another meeting of the Russian-Gulf strategic dialogue, while on the sidelines of it, the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, held a discussion session that included a review of bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, in addition to discussing regional developments, most notably the escalation in Yemen and the continuing threats to navigation in the Straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab.

In a parallel context, Abu Dhabi witnessed a Saudi-Emirati meeting that included extensive discussions regarding: priorities for the stage and the exchange of visions regarding the latest developments in events in the region. The Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, met with the Emirati President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, at Al-Shati Palace in the Emirati capital, where they reviewed developments in the regional situation and the importance of consultation regarding the priorities of the stage and exchanging visions regarding the latest developments in events in the region and issues and topics of common interest.

In the same context, the Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, discussed with the Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, the latest developments in the region, and emphasized strengthening cooperation in a way that supports efforts to consolidate regional security and stability.

In the latest developments in the Cairo movement to support Riyadh, the Egyptian National Defense Council decided, on Sunday, to provide all necessary and possible forms of support to Saudi Arabia to defend its security and stability, and to preserve its capabilities, the integrity of its lands, and Islamic holy sites.

The Egyptian Presidency said in a statement that the National Defense Council decided to “stand fully and stand in full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based on the historical relations and strong ties that bind the peoples of the two brotherly countries as they are the heart of the Arab nation, and out of belief in the connection between Saudi national security and Egyptian and Arab national security.”

On the other hand, the Legitimacy Support Coalition continues to thwart the Houthi terrorist militia’s attacks on Saudi Arabia, while the Coalition confirmed that Apache helicopters will enter the field soon as part of the continuation of air support missions for Yemen Dawn operations.

The spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, refuted the Houthi terrorist militia’s claims of shooting down a Saudi Apache helicopter. The spokesman published pictures of the same model through his account on the “X” platform, saying: It claims to have shot it down... It will enter the field soon... Remember its appearance, so do not forget it.

The terrorist Houthi militia is spreading false allegations claiming that a Saudi helicopter was shot down in Najran, which was refuted by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy. The coalition announced in the morning the downing and crash of a reconnaissance helicopter in the Najran region, causing the death of two officers.

The official spokesman for the coalition forces, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, said in a statement today, Sunday, that an AH-6i reconnaissance helicopter fell and crashed inside Saudi territory in the Najran region, belonging to the Ministry of the National Guard, as a result of a technical malfunction.

In the latest attacks on Saudi Arabia, the Civil Defense in the city of Najran began landing an enemy projectile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia on a residential site, resulting in the injury of (6) citizens and material damage to (3) homes and (3) vehicles.

The official Civil Defense spokesman stressed that attempts to target civilian objects are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, and the procedures adopted in such cases have been implemented.
