Houthis: We targeted King Khalid Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile

Sanaa - Ofoq News - The military spokesman for the Ansar Allah group (Houthis), Yahya Saree, announced that the group targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with a ballistic missile this afternoon.

Saree said that the missile hit the target, adding that the attack led to damage and disruption of air traffic inside the airport.

The announcement comes in light of the escalation of security tensions in the region, coinciding with moves to activate the mechanisms of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, which Turkey confirmed is based on a defensive basis, while examining ways to support Saudi Arabia in confronting the attacks it is being exposed to.
