Napster, a company specializing in developing next-generation technologies for embodied artificial intelligence and intelligent agents, and Humane, a Public Investment Fund company and a global leader in providing integrated artificial intelligence capabilities, announced a strategic partnership to provide advanced artificial intelligence experiences designed in the Arabic language to government and private agencies in the Middle East and North Africa region.
This partnership combines the HUMAIN IQ platform for artificial intelligence services and HUMAIN Voice technologies, with Napster's visual presence technologies, Large Persona Models, and the infrastructure for multimedia intelligent agents.
Through this integration, the two companies will work to integrate Arabic language processing and speech recognition and generation capabilities into embodied artificial intelligence experiences, designed to meet the needs of organizations and users in the region, according to a statement by Humane today, Monday.
This partnership represents an important model for employing technologies developed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance the capabilities of a global technology company, reflecting the growing role of Humane as a source of advanced technologies applicable in international markets.
Through the HUMAIN IQ and HUMAIN Voice platforms, Napster will have programmatic access to select HUMAIN capabilities via secure application programming interfaces (APIs), including:
These capabilities will be integrated with Napster's technologies for embodied artificial intelligence and intelligent agents, to develop a new generation of Arabic-speaking digital employees who are able to understand and communicate the Arabic language naturally, maintain a continuous memory of interactions, and communicate with customers and colleagues via voice, video, and interactive conversational interfaces.
For his part, Tariq Amin, CEO of Humane, said: “Arabic-speaking markets have not received sufficient attention from artificial intelligence platforms that were developed primarily for the English language. A digital agent who has difficulty speaking the language he is supposed to master cannot be considered a practical solution for the workforce. Humane’s models give our platform the linguistic fluency and cultural understanding necessary to build trust in this market, which creates a paradigm shift in the solutions that we can provide to organizations in the region.”
John Acunto, CEO of Napster, said: “With the region’s rapidly growing youth, workforce and digitally-enabled consumers, customers have come to expect AI technologies to interact with them in Arabic as a basic requirement, and to understand the cultural nuances that affect the way they communicate and interact.”
Napster intends to make these capabilities available directly to its existing clients from government and private agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, opening immediate horizons for hiring digital employees proficient in the Arabic language on a large scale.
“The next generation of AI must be tailored to the local languages and needs of the markets it serves,” said Humain’s CEO. “At the same time, the technologies we develop in Saudi Arabia must have the ability to scale and reach new markets. This partnership represents an important model for using AI technologies developed in the Kingdom to support the capabilities of a global technology company. By combining HUMAIN IQ, ALLAM, HUMAIN Voice, and Napster’s capabilities in embodied AI, we are developing solutions tailored to the needs of region, highlighting the growing global importance of Humin technologies.”
This partnership reflects the complementarity of the strengths of the two companies, as HUMAIN provides artificial intelligence models designed for the Arabic language, advanced speech processing capabilities, and integrated artificial intelligence services through the HUMAIN IQ platform. In return, Napster provides visual presence technologies, large intelligent persona models, and infrastructure for multimedia intelligent agents.
Through this integration, the two companies aim to enable government and private agencies to adopt advanced artificial intelligence experiences designed for the Arabic language, and to facilitate their dissemination and application within different work environments.
The partnership also highlights the role played by the HUMAIN IQ and HUMAIN Voice platforms in enabling the integration of artificial intelligence capabilities developed in the Kingdom into global technologies and applications.
Through secure application programming interfaces, technology companies can integrate Humane models and services into their own platforms, which contributes to expanding the spread of artificial intelligence technologies developed in the Kingdom and enhancing their practical applications.
By combining Humane's capabilities in sovereign artificial intelligence with the infrastructure provided by Napster to deploy and operate solutions, the two companies have the potential to enable government and private agencies to adopt next-generation artificial intelligence services, without having to deal with the complexities associated with developing these solutions from scratch. This partnership comes within Napster's ongoing commitment to the region and its efforts to expand its presence in the Middle East, with plans to launch additional initiatives and applications during 2026.
