Within the framework of these understandings, the Lebanese army deployed in July in the western town of Zawtar, following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its outskirts. It also strengthened its deployment in the towns of Srifa and Faron, without reaching an agreement on additional areas.

Despite this, Israel continues to launch raids into southern Lebanon and carry out bombing and bombing operations in towns that its forces still occupy.
