Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram performed a public concert at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, during which she appeared in two blue looks, the details of which were in harmony with the general character of the concert. The first look was signed by the “Azzi & Osta” house, by Lebanese designers George Qazi and Asaad Osta, while Ajram chose the second look from the Lebanese designer Aline Sabbagh.
A visual vision inspired by the neon atmosphere. The creative director of the ceremony, Guy Asmar, explained in an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic that the visual vision inspired by the neon atmosphere was reflected in the fashion choices, through the use of fabrics that reflect light and details that evoke a showy nature, while maintaining the simplicity of the cuts and elements that complement the look. Based on this vision, the first look relied on a simple cut and a fabric that reflects the light, while the hair, makeup, and jewelry choices were calm, to keep the focus on the design and material and their effect under the stage lighting.
As for the second look, its details were inspired by rock star fashion, with a jacket decorated with tassels and silver beads. Asmar explained that the idea was based on combining the modern spirit with the rock-inspired character, while maintaining an elegant style that is in line with the identity of the Lebanese star.
Bright blue and artificial feathers For their part, designers George Qazi and Asaad Osta explained that their cooperation with Ajram is not the first, as they have previously designed looks for her on various occasions, which made the preparation for this look smooth as usual. The two designers indicated in an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic that they discussed with the creative director of the ceremony the artistic vision for the show, and studied multiple options before settling on the color blue with its wavy shades.
They noted that this type of fabric is also present in their new collection. They also chose artificial feathers, and emphasized the house's keenness not to use natural feathers.
As for the second look, it was designed specifically for Ajram in sky blue, and consisted of a jacket decorated with tassels and fine details of silver beads, which she coordinated with short pants in the same color, according to what was stated on Sabbagh’s official account on “Instagram.”
