First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, stressed the importance of strengthening the principles of governance and transparency in administrative and financial work, and continuing to develop work mechanisms in a way that contributes to achieving the authority’s strategic goals, and enhancing its role in regulating the labor market and protecting the rights of its parties.

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, according to a statement by the Manpower Authority, during his chairmanship, today, Wednesday, of the Authority’s Board of Directors meeting in the presence of Board members, stressed the importance of continuing to implement development plans and programs for the “manpower” and improving the level of services provided to citizens, business owners and workers, in line with the state’s trends towards developing government work and enhancing performance efficiency.

The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda, and also reviewed work developments and the Authority’s plans aimed at developing institutional performance and enhancing the efficiency of the work system, in a way that supports efforts to regulate the labor market in the State of Kuwait.
