Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Friday via Telegram that Russian air strikes again targeted the southern bridge in the Ukrainian capital.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced, in a statement on Friday, that the armed forces targeted in the capital, Kiev, a bridge, designated for cars and trains, that passes over the Dnieper River, and is used for the logistical supply of military shipments for the benefit of Ukrainian military formations in the Donbass region.
The Kiev authorities announced, citing police, that the southern bridge was closed to vehicles in both directions after it was hit by Russian drones. Movement was also restricted on one lane of the metro bridge from the left to the right bank, and vehicular movement on the Patton Bridge from the right to the left bank was closed.
The Russian Defense also announced that last night it targeted a cargo ship in the Black Sea, which was transporting military equipment to the port of Odessa for the benefit of Ukrainian forces.
Russian forces also targeted an industrial and production complex in Ismail Port, which was used to sort and distribute military shipments and fuel for the Ukrainian army, according to what the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.
For its part, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that Russia launched 108 drones, including forty-seven jet drones, during the night. It said that it shot down and neutralized 88 drones, while direct hits were recorded in eleven locations and debris fell in five other locations. She explained that the attack was still continuing until Friday morning.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian General Staff announced that its forces struck three march management centers and five Russian forces gathering sites, in addition to another target whose nature was not specified.
This comes as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he met with the ambassadors of European Union countries in Ukraine, and discussed with them strengthening air defense and joint military production, maintaining financial stability, the path of his country’s accession to the Union, and tightening sanctions on Russia. He said that Kyiv will hold more coordination meetings in foreign policy.
