The "Coalition" announces the "destruction of two ballistic missile launching pads in Saada"

The Saudi-led “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen” announced on Saturday, “the destruction of two ballistic missile launching pads in the Yemeni governorate of Saada.” The coalition spokesman, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, said through his account on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter): “Two ballistic missile launching pads were destroyed in Saada Governorate.”

The information provided by the "coalition" did not include additional details about the operation. Before announcing the “destruction of the two platforms,” the spokesman posted a video clip of what he described as “targeting the Houthi terrorist militia’s operations to smuggle weapons across the sea to Hodeidah Governorate,” and attached a comment to it: “We strike them on land, and drown them in the sea.”

It is noteworthy that the members of the UN Security Council condemned in a statement, on Thursday, “in the strongest terms the continuing and escalating attacks launched by the Houthis against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including attacks that targeted civil aviation and energy infrastructure and resulted in the death and injury of civilians,” according to what was reported by the “United Nations News” website. In a related context, the police of the Yemeni city of Aden announced that "two missiles fired by the Houthis hit the campus of Aden International Airport," in the south of the country, on Friday.

This attack follows a previous attack on October 7, in which the Houthis targeted the airport with missiles and drones, according to the Yemeni Ministry of Transport, an attack that also did not result in any casualties.
