The King of Jordan Receives the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in Aqaba, Military Aircraft Welcome Him

- The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Monday that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed, arrived in the Jordanian city of Aqaba to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for a railway project. The agency reported that Jordan's King Abdullah II welcomed the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, where the foundation stone for the "Aqaba – Shidiya – Ma'an Railway" project was laid.

WAM added: "His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was accompanied by military aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force as he entered the airspace of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan." The Emirati news agency published photos of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi's arrival in Aqaba and the reception ceremony by the Jordanian monarch.
