The President of Iran on the countries of the region: We are brothers and we are all Muslims. We can help each other

Iranian President, Masoud Bazkashian, said that his country and the countries of the region are “brothers” and that they are all “Muslims,” pointing to the extent of the cooperation energies and the possibility of helping and maintaining the security of the region together. This came in a speech by the Iranian President, reported by the official Iranian News Agency, on Thursday, where he said: “We are brothers with all the countries surrounding us, and we are all Muslims, so we can help each other and maintain the security of our region.”

We do not need to ensure the security of the region by those coming from the other side of the world, who commit crimes themselves or support criminals, murderers and terrorists, while falsely claiming that they will provide us with security.” Bazkashian criticized the “contradictory claims” of some foreign powers, saying: “How do they claim to combat terrorism after they commit crimes?

These allegations are made very easily, while answers should be provided regarding the innocent victims and the responsibility of the perpetrators of these acts. He continued, saying: “When the slightest problem occurs in other countries, they claim human rights violations and cry crocodile tears,” stressing that “those whose hands are stained with the blood of innocents cannot talk about human rights in this way and shift the blame to others.”
