The Quartet, which includes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Turkey, condemned in the strongest terms the ongoing hostile attacks launched by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia, including the attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of civilians, as well as damage to infrastructure and civilian facilities, in flagrant violation of international law.

In a joint statement, the Kingdom, Egypt, Pakistan and Turkey condemn in the strongest terms the ongoing hostile attacks launched by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom, including the sinful attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of civilians, as well as damage to infrastructure and civilian facilities, which is a flagrant violation of international law. https://t.co/kY2pRAMwvs #SPA

The group stressed in a joint statement that these sinful attacks represent an attack on the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, a direct threat to its security, stability and the safety of civilians, and a dangerous escalation that cannot be justified or accepted under any pretext.

The group renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom, and its support for all legitimate measures and steps it takes to confront these attacks, deter sources of threat, and prevent their recurrence, in defense of the Kingdom’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and to protect the safety of its citizens and residents, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and international law.

The group held the Houthi militia fully responsible for these attacks and their repercussions, warning of their repercussions on regional and international peace and security, and demanding an immediate and unconditional cessation of these attacks.
