The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said on Friday that the air force’s warplanes carried out 20 precise air strikes within 3 hours, targeting “movements, reinforcements, gatherings, elements, vehicles and military vehicles” belonging to the Houthis in Taiz Governorate.

He identified the targeted areas in Himyar, Bani Bakari, Sami’, Al-Aqroud, 60th Street, Al-Amour, Midi Bani Hassan, and Al-Wazi’iyah in Taiz Governorate.

The spokesman added in a post on the “X” platform: “The raids achieved direct hits on enemy targets, and inflicted losses on militia members, their equipment, and their military movements.”

Before that, Colonel Majid Abdullah Al-Nuzaili, the official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that the air defense of the Armed Forces was able to "intercept and shoot down suicide drones belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia in the sky of the temporary capital, Aden, before they reached their targets in civilian areas and neighborhoods."

During the past 24 hours, the Yemeni government forces and the popular resistance in Taiz foiled a series of attacks and infiltration attempts launched by the Houthi militia on a number of fronts in the governorate, in a wide field escalation that extended from Maqbana and Jabal Habashi in the west to Al-Aqroud and Sami in the south, and the fronts surrounding the city of Taiz.

The Taiz Axis Command said that more than 100 members of the Houthi militia were killed and dozens were injured during the confrontations, which were accompanied by air strikes targeting the group's sites and gatherings, noting the destruction and damage of a number of military vehicles and the burning of a weapons store.
