The Yemeni Armed Forces said, on Saturday evening, that they had carried out 257 precise targeting operations against positions, movements and military capabilities of the Houthi militia, using warplanes, drones, artillery, missiles and launchers.
The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nuzaili, explained that the operations included Sanaa, Midi, Baqim, and the Al-Jawf, Ma’rib, Al-Bayda, and Lahj fronts, with the operational effort focusing on the Taiz fronts, targeting command and control centers, gatherings and concentrations, combat reserves, weapons and ammunition stores, and military supply lines and means.
He added, "The operations resulted, according to initial field estimates, in the neutralization of at least 700 militia members, the destruction of strategic and high-value military targets, and the destruction of 170 combat means and mechanisms, which had a direct impact on the militia's combat ability and limited its ability to continue its attacks against civilians in their homes and villages."
This comes as the Yemeni armed forces, supported by popular resistance and military aviation, continue to fight fierce battles against the Houthi militia on various fighting fronts in Taiz Governorate, southwest of Yemen.
The Yemeni government forces achieved important field progress on the Sami front, during which they were able to control the Sami Fort and its surrounding areas, after battles in which the Houthi militia suffered heavy losses in equipment and equipment.
In the early morning hours, Yemeni government forces responded to a massive attack launched by the Houthi militia, accompanied by heavy fire coverage, on Mount Han and other sites on the western front of the city, where they were able to break the attack and force the militia members to retreat and flee after many of them were killed, wounded, or captured.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni armed forces, backed by the resistance, are waging fierce battles against the Houthi militia on the battle fronts in the Al-Shamaytain, Al-Maafer and Jabal Habashi districts, and they also continue to pursue the remnants of the militia in Sam’a.
